Sarah Rouse

DENTAL NURSE

Sarah joined Coatbridge Family Dental Care in February 2025 as an Apprentice Dental Nurse, having always been interested in pursuing a career in dental nursing. When the opportunity arose to begin her apprenticeship at the practice, she grabbed it with both hands, and she has since successfully qualified as a Dental Nurse.

Sarah enjoys helping people and finds it especially rewarding to see patients regain their confidence after feeling self-conscious about their teeth. She is proud to be part of a team that supports patients throughout their journey and works together to provide high standards of care.

A typical day for Sarah involves setting up for procedures, greeting patients, offering reassurance and ensuring surgeries are prepared so that appointments run smoothly. She works closely alongside Molly, Laura and occasionally John, gaining experience across a variety of treatments. Now fully qualified, she plays an important role in helping surgeries run efficiently while providing valuable support to both the clinical team and patients.

Sarah enjoys that her role is fast paced and that no two days are the same. She appreciates the supportive, family feel within the team and values the practice’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to continually improving patient care.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys being outdoors, going on long walks and spending quality time with family. She loves cosy movie nights at home with her partner and their two cats. Travelling is high on her bucket list, particularly a Route 66 road trip across America.

Sarah’s goal is to continue developing her skills and growing into an even more confident and capable dental nurse, always striving to be the best she can be.
