Mhairi-Louise is our Head Dental Nurse at Coatbridge family Dental Care and has been part of the team since May 2017. With nearly eight years at the practice, she plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly each day.

Originally, Mhairi-Louise had planned to go into general nursing, but after gaining experience she discovered dentistry was where she truly felt at home. She loves helping people and enjoys being able to make a real difference to patients during their visits.

As Head Nurse, she supports the team both clinically and behind the scenes. You will often find her assisting in surgery, carrying out clinical checks, managing stock and equipment checks, and making sure surgeries are prepared and organised. She is also sedation trained and assists in our sedation clinics, helping patients feel calm, safe and well looked after throughout their treatment. Mhairi-Louise is always on hand to deal with any issues that arise in surgery or in the decontamination room, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

Patients appreciate her approachable manner and the time she takes to get to know them. She believes in listening carefully, taking a genuine interest in people and making sure they feel heard and supported. Known for her often pink hair, she brings warmth and personality to the practice while remaining professional and reassuring.
