Leanne is one of our Patient Care Coordinators at Coatbridge Family Dental Care and is also a qualified Dental Nurse.

She joined the practice in July 2019, initially working as Keith’s nurse before progressing into her current role.

Before moving into dentistry, Leanne worked as a Veterinary Care Assistant in private practice and later with the SSPCA. It was through assisting with dental procedures in that role that her interest in dentistry began, eventually leading her to train and build her career within the profession.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, Leanne is often the first point of contact for new patients joining the practice. She carries out initial free consultations, takes intra oral scans and clinical photographs, and talks patients through their treatment options in a clear and supportive way. She also supports existing patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they feel informed and confident at every stage.

Leanne plays an important role in the organisation of implant surgery, managing ordering and preparation so everything is in place on the day. She particularly enjoys the organisational side of her role, as well as meeting and chatting with patients, many of whom soon feel like familiar faces.

She loves that the team at Coatbridge Family Dental Care work hard to make patients feel at ease, and that for many people their appointments feel more like a friendly catch up than a traditional dental visit.

Outside of work, Leanne is a busy mum to her daughter and her Labrador. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and family, making the most of days out together.
