Gillian studied dentistry at the University of Glasgow and qualified as a dentist 25 years ago.

Together, Gillian and her husband Keith started Coatbridge Family Dental Care in 2009 and have continued to grow and develop the practice ever since.

Gillian worked clinically as a dentist within the practice for several years, while also gaining valuable experience as a Dental Practice Inspector with Lanarkshire Health Board. As the practice grew, so did the complexity of compliance, operations and business management, leading Gillian to step away from clinical dentistry and focus fully on the leadership and development of the practice.

As Managing Partner, Gillian oversees the strategic direction of the business, with responsibility across operations, finance and business development. She is passionate about creating a practice that feels welcoming, progressive and genuinely focused on both patient care and team wellbeing. Working closely with Keith, her focus has always been to build an environment where patients feel comfortable, cared for and able to access a wide range of treatments in one familiar place.

Gillian is always looking ahead, helping to keep the practice up to date with new technology, services and ideas that improve the patient experience and support the team in delivering excellent care.

Outside of work, Gillian is a trained yoga teacher and enjoys spending time outdoors and travelling with Keith and their two teenage daughters.
