I qualified as a dental hygienist therapist from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018, and I joined the team at Coatbridge Family Dental Care soon after.

Prior to gaining my degree, I trained and worked as a dental nurse, so I have spent the majority of my working life in dentistry.

I’m really passionate about my job and I love helping our patients achieve a healthy smile through the treatment that I carry out, and also by educating them on the best way to look after their oral health at home. I have always been a bit frightened of going to the dentist (which might make my chosen career path seem a bit strange!) so this makes me even more keen to ensure our patients feel at ease and comfortable during their treatment with me.

Outside of work I like to spend time with my Fiancé, friends and family. I enjoy long walks and have recently challenged myself with a bit of hillwalking. I also love music and singing, and I’m sure most patients will have heard me singing along with the radio in the surgery by now!
