Receptionist / Trainee Dental Nurse

I’ve always had an interest in teeth from a young age and I think that’s down to my parents.

 They made sure I looked after my own teeth as it wasn’t something people bothered with when they were younger and they didn’t want that for me! So every 6 months when I went to the Dentist I got £20 if I didn’t need any work done and to this day I still have a clean record (thanks Dad!) So I guess this is why I choose dentistry as a career.

I went to uni after leaving high school as I wanted to be a Hygiene Therapist but sadly that didn’t work out! After that I went on to work in the veterinary world for a while, which I loved as I used to get loads of puppy cuddles! Although that was good I wanted to get back into dentistry so have decided to train as a Dental Nurse as well as working on Reception which I really enjoy. I applied to work at Coatbridge Family Dental care as it seemed like a fun, friendly place to work and I haven’t been disappointed! I love coming to work as there’s such a fab team here, who all get on so well!

In my spare time I like to socialise with my friends, family and boyfriend, Darren. We also have a crazy pug cross called Frank who keeps us entertained.”
