Jenna Reynolds joined the team here at Coatbridge Family Dental Care as a Dental Hygiene Therapist in April 2026, bringing a warm, approachable style and a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health.

Before moving into dentistry, Jenna worked in a variety of managerial roles, but knew she wanted a career that felt more fulfilling and people-focused. After gaining work experience in dentistry, she quickly realised it offered the perfect combination of science, practical work and patient care, and decided to retrain as a Dental Therapist.

Jenna provides a wide range of care for both adults and children, including routine dental examinations, hygiene treatment, periodontal therapy, fillings, restorative care, oral health education and preventative treatments. She has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and enjoys seeing the positive impact even small treatments can have on a patient’s comfort, confidence and overall wellbeing.

A big part of Jenna’s role is helping nervous or anxious patients feel more at ease. She understands that dental visits can feel overwhelming for some people and always aims to create a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where patients feel listened to and involved in their care. Her friendly nature and approachable manner help patients relax quickly, making appointments feel as positive and stress-free as possible.

What Jenna finds most rewarding about dentistry is building long-term relationships with patients and seeing their confidence grow over time, particularly those who may have previously felt anxious about treatment.

Although new to the team, Jenna already loves the collaborative and welcoming atmosphere at Coatbridge Family Dental Care and the shared focus on delivering high standards of patient care.

Outside of the practice, Jenna enjoys travelling, keeping active through running, football and the gym, and spending weekends exploring with her Border Terrier, Iris. Patients may also be surprised to learn she’s a keen fragrance enthusiast.
